MEMBERSHIP

Over the past few years Rotary membership has been declining in Australia. This is symptomatic of a lot of organisations and even sporting teams. Rotary Zone 8 is currently embarking on a Pilot program to address membership issues but it is at the Club level that we can best attract and retain members. By making community and club members want to come to our meetings and wanting to be part of our projects our membership will increase.

Our club culture and the reason why we are here as a Rotary identity is a good starting place. What we do at meetings and our club culture needs to be closely looked at. As well we need to put the spot light on our programs and projects within the community and internationally.

Robert presents ideas to attract members and to retain members. He presents best practices to deal with our International Toast, how we induct and welcome new members, how we work within our community and how we increase attendance at our dinners.
